Feeding the Disabled Child
Published in Hardcover by Mac Keith Pr (September, 1996)
Average review score:

Excellent introduction to feeding difficultiesI just finished reading this book, and found it very informative and clearly written. The book begins with the less complex and leads to the very complex in a smooth, precise manner. Recently beginning work in a facility that deals with a clientel prodominately afflicted with CP, I found this book to contain and explain the vital information that I need to do my job as a well-informed dietetic technician. I highly recommend this book to parents and caregivers of the feeding disabled child.

Finding God: Praying the Psalms in Times of Depression
Published in Paperback by Westminster John Knox Press (July, 2002)
Average review score:

Downright sensible and spiritually trueThis little book is brilliant. I suffer from severe depression and although I am also content in Christ and am joy-ful, there are times when all I can do is groan and BE a prayer. And yes, of course you can be suffering depression as an illness and be full of joy!
This book starts with several chapters which are amongst the most sensible I have some across to do with depression. The chapters dealing with the use of the Psalms are very practical.
Psalm 13 was called by a friend of mine, 'The Depressives' Psalm.' Using this psalm in the book was of great comfort to me, for this friend misunderstands me and has turned away from me causing enormous grief. This grief has impacted on my depression greatly. Yet, as this book testifies, there is always hope in Christ, even in the deepest despair.I know there will be total reconciliation one day.
Thomas Lewis fully understands depression, first hand.

Best book on O'ConnorIn a beautifully written analysis of O'Connor's life and work, Balee displays considerable knowledge of the cultural and historical background of O'Connor's world, and provides rare and revealing photographs. A must read, and apparently the first biography of O'Connor.

The Food Service Professionals Guide To: Controlling Restaurant & Food Service Operating Costs
Published in Paperback by Atlantic Pub Co (02 September, 2002)
Average review score:

Great BookGreat Book! I Found These step-by-step guides easy-to-read, and easy to understand! The books are packed with information. They reminded me of "cliff Notes" from my college days. The information is comprehensive without the fluff you find in so many of the more expensive books out there on the subject. The books are also packed with resources such as phone numbers and the web sites of the companies they are discussing - there is no "theory" just great information.
